We are currently recruiting for Support workers in the Crieff area supporting one adolescent service user in their own tenancy. With a pay rate of £35000 Per Annum for full time work. Working on a rolling rota of providing full day cover + sleepovers. If you're looking for more information in regards to the rota please don't hesitate to get in touch.

You will be joining an established team of Randstad of core workers who have made a real difference in the life of other service users over the past year. You will be working in a 2:1 care environment providing 24 hour care 7 days a week.

This package can be challenging, the client has multiple learning disabilities such as Autism which can result in boundaries being tested. But this can also be very rewarding and allow a genuine connection to be made resulting in you being able to see how you are making a difference in a young man's life. The service user is a very likeable and sociable young man, with the right support huge improvements to his quality of life can be made.

A successful Support Worker will be responsible for:

Working effectively as part of a team
Providing 24 hours care to a vulnerable young person
Maintaining professional manner and working to National Care Standards
Working to a flexible schedule, including night shifts, weekends and bank holidays

To be successful in your application, you will:

Have previous experience working in a residential setting with young people/young adults
Have previous experience working with members with Autism and skills in de-escalation of heightened emotions and able to utilise this to keep challenging behaviour to a minimum.
Have strong communication skills
Be able to create strong genuine connections and enjoy outdoor activities.
Ability to engage and promote independent living
