Area Sales Manager Role Profile Our Business CR Smith is Scotlands longest running home improvement business, with its roots dating back to 1917.Since then, it has become one of Scotlands most respected companies and well-known brands. CR Smith Manufacturing is a fast-paced, dynamic, manufacturing organisation, producing made-to-order, bespoke window and door products for the New Build, Extension & Refurbishment sectors. These sectors present significant opportunity for growth as demand for technically advanced, thermally efficient building products increases. We are looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to continue to build on our continuing growth in these sectors through our trade & new build department serving small to medium, largely independent, joiners and builders. The Role Reporting to: Commercial Projects Manager Remuneration:£40,000 base salary. £60,000+ OTE based on achieving targets/experience Company car or allowance Company Pension contributions The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing new and existing customer accounts with the role changing and growing in line with the department and wider business needs. Key day-to-day responsibilities will include: -Proactive new account acquisition and lead generation -Proactive sales conversion -Clarifying and confirming customer specifications based on designs submitted -Ensuring after sales service is delivered on relevant accounts via Customer Service Team -Proactive contribution to team meetings and development of procedures and systems Key skills & Attributes: -prior experience in sales, lead generation & account management (especially if in the window/building industry) -are highly energetic and take the initiative -are computer literate & are quick to learn new softwares & systems -have excellent interpersonal and communication skills -are able to manage own work load and multi-task in fast-paced dynamic environment -have impeccable attention to detail Key Performance Indicators: -Sales Growth to target-Lead & New Account Acquisition -Order Accuracy-Customer Service Levels
