Lusona has an excellent opportunity to join a family-owned group of companies in Falkirk. A particularly value add role within a commercially focussed, forward thinking business, suited to a dedicated accountant who will be a key contributor to the development and growth of the business.Reporting to the Managing Director the successful candidate will be responsible for the running of the accounts function, especially the delivery of timely management accounts. Key responsibilities will include:
Producing and reviewing monthly management accounts.
Providing key financial information to senior stakeholders across the business necessary for optimising profits.
Supervising the other members of the finance team.
Consolidating group budgets and forecasts.
Collaborating with the senior leadership team
Reviewing capital and project appraisals.
Contributing to areas of process improvement within finance and other areas of the business that will encourage greater efficiencies
Providing assistance with ad hoc projects when required.
To be considered for this role, applicants will have strong technical and analytical accounting skills, with a proven track record within the service sector. It is important to have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Previous experience using Kerridge is preferred but not essential.
