INEOS FPS
FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas liquid transportation and processing system with a nominal capacity in excess of one million barrels per day serving the central area of the North Sea.
Oil and gas liquids from over 50 offshore fields and St Fergus flow through pipelines into FPS. FPS transports crude oil and gas liquids from offshore and onshore entry points, processes the liquids at Kinneil and redelivers to the customer Forties Blend crude oil at Hound Point and either Raw Gas or fractionated Gas Products at Grangemouth.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the RLPG Tankage Project Manager, the post holder will be responsible in leading the inspection of new insulation installations checking for compliance with design. The post holder will also be responsible for providing INEOS supervision of the managing contractor’s SIPS activities.
Principle Accountabilities
Inspect new insulation systems as they are installed. Checking for compliance with design and quality standards.
Checking/supervising insulation methods both for removing and replacing insulation. Ensuring insulation is checked at all hold points.
Signing off on the installation on INEOS’s behalf.
Contribute to the delivery of the construction work in the field in accordance with the agreed plans (both Asset and team), co-ordinating resources, insulators, inspectors as necessary to complete the work on time, within budget, to the design intent and to the required HSE and quality standards.
Contribute to the delivery of the overhaul and repair programme in line with inspection WSE, including input into planning, participation in constructability reviews and AFC pack.
Organise punching & completion activities.
Ensure work is controlled safely and effectively managed including performance of daily site audits and safety audits plus lifting compliance.
Attend weekly progress meetings with planning and scheduling team.
Organise and carry out assurance audits on site and any other provisions of the construction HSE plan or asset specific requirements.
Interface with Construction manager, Project Manager and Asset teams
Qualifications, knowledge and Skills
Extensive experience of SIPS Supervision in the a Petrochemical/Oil & Gas Industry
Extensive experience of insulation inspection in the a Petrochemical/Oil & Gas Industry
2-5 years working in 3rd Party Construction Company.
Technical knowledge relevant to own discipline including an understanding of legislative requirements.
Strong communication skills
Understands commissioning processes and the relationship with construction and completion control.
Permit to work and management of change knowledge.
Expectation to work additional hours during site planned and unplanned events
