Canby High School is hiring a 1.0 FTE  CTE – Construction Teacher to begin August 28, 2023. Please note, this position requires a CTE teaching license with an endorsement in Construction.

In addition to salary, Canby School District offers the following annual stipends to licensed staff:

  • National Board Certification: $1,000
  • Doctorate: $1,000 pro-rated to FTE
  • Educators who receive the National Board Certification will be automatically moved to the BA+108/MA+42 column of the CEA salary schedule at the step appropriate to their years of experience.

    We are pleased to offer a one-time $3,500 bonus to licensed bilingual new hires!

    About this Position

    The classroom teacher performs under the supervision of a principal or other designated supervisor and has major responsibility for the instruction and supervision of students. The classroom teacher functions in accordance with the established policies, rules, regulations and the performance standards of the district/state and the performance goals established for the teacher. Strong classroom management skills and parent and community involvement are expected. All teachers are responsible for student achievement, supervision, guidance, development and safety.
