Customer Service Assistant – Mcgills – Falkirk


Customer Service Assistant Larbert Following our exciting acquisition of First Scotland East, we re recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant to join our new customer service team based at our head office in Larbert. This busy role will involve dealing with customers requirements in a professional manner via telephone and email. Role 40 Hours per week hours of work shifts between the hours of 8am and 6pm and rotational Saturday shifts between 9am and 5pm. The hourly rate is £9.75 per hour. Person Specification The successful candidate must have: • Excellent customer care skills and be willing to go the extra mile for our passengers. • The ability to deal effectively and professionally with a broad variety of customer enquiries and complaints. • An excellent telephone manner and patience, empathy and understanding. • Excellent computer skills Microsoft Excel, Word, and email Outlook packages. • The ability to work on own initiative and also work effectively as part of a small team. Tasks • Deal with all customer complaints handling from receipt to resolution, which involves speaking to various Depot Operations Managers and checking on the status of the complaint in a timely manner. • Issue all McGill s Scotland East online tickets and associated paperwork. • Maintain mobile alerts information on McGill s Scotland East website. • Order bus timetables and distribution. • General administrative correspondence and any other duties as required by the Line Manager.
