E&I Engineer Job Purpose The Off sites Engineering team covers the Refinery Tank farm and receiving / distribution Assets at the Grangemouth. Provision of Instrument/Electrical Engineering within the Off site Areas to ensure required technical input to deliver integrity, safety and reliability of the maintenance, plant modification and operation of the Asset. The post holder will be responsible for regulatory compliance and the implementation of new and changing standards for assigned Refinery Assets. Position: E&I Maintenance Engineer Within the Refinery Engineering Support team, the purpose of the role is to develop and implement Asset Care Policy, within discipline, for assigned Refinery Assets. The post holder will be responsible for regulatory compliance and the implementation of new and changing standards for assigned Refinery Assets. Education/ Experience · Engineering Degree in Discipline · Chartered Status desirable · Relevant technical experience Technical Skills · As a professional Engineer demonstrates thorough understanding and application of engineering discipline including knowledge of appropriate engineering standards and application. · Expert knowledge of Electricity and Work Regulations, Wiring Regulations, DSEAR, ATEX and IEC61508/11 Functional Safety. · This role also has some specific appointments including Radiation Protection Supervisor, Performing Authority in RAP, Electrical Excavation Authority, E/I PMP Technical Signatory Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
