Here at Serco, we’re looking for an Engineering Services Shift Technician to join us at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert. The New Forth Valley site has beds and covers a single site of approximately , square metres.
Main Accountabilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for fault finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment. You will undertake maintenance, servicing, repairs, minor improvement, and capital work across the hospital as directed by Estates management, ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.
The Engineering Services Shift Technician will provide responsive day to day maintenance services for all buildings services, plant, and equipment and will be responsible for the continuity of life critical mechanical and electrical services systems and supplies throughout the hospital.
What you’ll need to do the role
You will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role within a large complex service and you will have completed an apprenticeship in engineering or equivalent, or a BTEC / HNC in engineering services or equivalent. You will also have a good understanding of customer care and experience of managing the client relationship and demonstrate knowledge of health and safety systems and procedures.
