About the role:
We are currently looking for an Experienced Plant Fitter who has a strong proven background and skill-set in this field, to join our hardworking team.
Duties Include:
- Carry out preventative and routine maintenance including servicing, inspections and to complete relevant paperwork.
- Attend machine breakdowns on site, and effect repairs to ensure minimum downtime.
- Troubleshoot and fault find any defects on plant and tools and carry out repairs as necessary
- Maintain the workshop in a clean and tidy environment.
- Ensure all safety and environmental rules are followed including compliance with PPE requirements, method statements and risk assessments.
- Carry out risk assessments before commencing work on plant and equipment.
- Ensure spares and oils are booked to the correct job.
- Work effectively as a member of the Plant Team.
- Good timekeeping & productivity.
A successful candidate will be provided with:
- A fully fitted out van and workshop
- Fuel Card Issued and Mobile Phone
- Answerable only to Directors
