Are you a positive and flexible events professional with a strong commercial focus and experience of developing event strategy and revenue?

Do you have 5-7 years content development and event management experience, delivering in-person, virtual and hybrid B2B events?

Do you have good knowledge of the asset management industry and the PE and Hedge Fund space?

Are you confident directing the marketing of a programmes of international events and supporting sales activities?

Our client is dedicated to bringing their global executive audiences the very latest in knowledge and opinions; they are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial events professional to play a pivotal role, helping to develop revenues and grow a profitable business franchise.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

Moderating and presenting quality events and overseeing their flawless delivery from start to finish

Ensuring budgets are maintained and costs controlled

Preparing and maintaining realistic forecasts and budgets

Exploring new avenues of event activity

Managing event content – identifying topics and crafting rich content, translating into event agendas and discussion points, shaping panel discussions and planning speakers

Working closely with the editorial team to ensure all content is highly relevant

Working closely with the sales team and clients to assist in winning contracts and securing event sponsorships

Directing the marketing process for all events

Directing the delegate guesting process

Managing the process for inviting and onboarding speakers, optimising their experience

Assisting in the direction of logistics for in-person, digital and hybrid events which include roundtables, webinars, focus groups, awards and multi-sponsored events

Working with the Commercial team to ensure sponsor contract deliverables are effectively carried out and meet sponsor ROI

Reviewing, managing and negotiating contracts with suppliers, venues and vendors

Setting up and steering internal project meetings to ensure smooth delivery of events

Mentoring and guiding event assistants and managers; ensuring targets are met

Contributing ideas to the improvement of internal operating processes

The skills you need to bring:

5-7 years content development and corporate event management experience, delivering in-person, virtual and hybrid B2B events

A confident communicator with the ability to build business relationships at all levels, and with excellent writing and presentation skills

Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills

Ability to work to strict deadlines, maintaining a calm and logical approach

Strong project management skills

Meticulous with excellent attention to detail

Highly numerate

Experience with the use of live polling/Q&A, App and other engagement tools

A team player who’s positive, proactive, solutions and results oriented

Available to travel to international events
