Individual Support Worker (REQ000422) – Kingdom Group – Falkirk

Kingdom Group

We are looking for support workers for Paul.

Paul’s ideal support workers would be kind, persistent in building a relationship, patient and keen to work long term with Paul as it can take him a long time to build up trust and form a positive relationship with his staff team. Once you have a relationship built with Paul, it is a great thing and very rewarding. If you are good at crafts, baking or even better you can fix things then Paul will think you are great.

It is not always easy, but there is plenty of support and time to help you to build a relationship with Paul. Paul can, like us all, get upset about things and he can show us this in his own way so experience of supporting people through this would be beneficial but not essential, as we will provide full support and training. Paul has a small close team who are very supportive of each other so you would be coming into that established team.

A sense of humour is a must for Paul, once you are in his team the rewards of enabling

him to live in his own flat and go on days out make such a huge difference to his life
