Our client is a global manufacturer of Speciality Chemicals and Polymers and due to continued growth, they are now looking to add an IT Services Manager to join their team. You will join an existing IT Department located on a Large Chemical Site.
Responsibilities
- IT operational strategies, policies and processes to maintain & enhance IT Services, including Desktop, LAN, WAN, telecoms and applications support for 3 businesses.
- Ensuring the delivery of IT projects: within agreed timescales, budgets, and scope: driving project initiation; management of the project and its resources to produce successful services that meet business needs.
- Management of IT staff and resources, often including external parties, whilst providing leadership and direction to ensure delivery of IT Services to the business.
- Collaborate across the business with key stakeholders to identify and agree priorities.
Experience & Qualifications
- Candidates will hold a Degree/Postgraduate qualification, or equivalent in disciplines such as IT or management
- Hold a Project Management qualification
- Extensive experience in managing all aspects related to IT service delivery experience.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of project management methodologies.
- Have strong analytical skills in planning & forecasting skills
