An opportunity has become available for an experienced Joiner to become part of C~urb’s Planned Maintenance Team. You will provide a high quality and efficient service, carrying out all aspects of joinery work in properties owned or managed by Link Group or within service agreements to other organisations.
C~urb is a partner company of Link Group and provides high quality, customer-focused repairs and maintenance services to Link tenants and other customers in Scotland’s Central Belt. In addition, we also deliver a range of planned and cyclical maintenance activities.
The post is based within the kitchen team in which you will work as part of a multi-skilled trade team and will be responsible for carrying out kitchen installations, and other component renewals.
There will be a requirement to work throughout Link’s areas of operation, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. You will be able to plan your own workload and work flexibly to ensure that timescales are met. Access to a van, power tools, mobile phone, uniform, and PPE are provided
You will have proven experience in a similar joinery role and an NVQ/City & Guilds in Joinery or equivalent. You will have a competent knowledge of joinery manufactured components and knowledge of other core trades associated with joinery installations.
This role requires knowledge of and a commitment to excellent customer care and knowledge and awareness of health and safety requirements and how both impact on method of work and customer needs.
As Joiner, you will have knowledge of a variety of traditional and non-traditional construction methods, materials, and installations.
