Legal Summer Placement (Fixed Term Contract)

This is an excellent opportunity for a law student to gain practical experience working within the UK’s leading bus manufacturing company and exposure to a broad range of business areas.
3 to 4 week paid placement
37-hour working week with a half day on a Friday

Spend 3-4 weeks working with our experienced legal team on a variety of legal, commercial, corporate, and compliance matters.
We are a fast-paced business with priorities shifting all the time.
Legal team works with all parts of the business daily.
Develop legal and wider business knowledge, as well as building your technical skills.
Your tasks will be dependent on the needs of the business but will generally include:
Supporting the legal team
Conducting legal research
Carrying out legal administrative tasks
This is a great opportunity to experience an in-house environment, make new contacts, and enhance your CV.
This position is open to undergraduate law students (from third year onwards, or who are on the Accelerated LLB, or who have completed a Pre-Peat training contract) and postgraduate students who have completed or are studying for the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice.
An interest in a future career in the legal profession and in the field of commercial law.
Ability to communicate with people at all levels in a professional manner.
Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
