*Secondment Opportunity – Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager. The Candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self motivated person with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to take on the role of Overseas Visitors Administrator. The successful candidate will be expected to oversee their day to day service planning and workload, co-ordinate service cover, monitor progress and proactively solve non routine problems with a particular focus on supporting the Management Team thus contributing to the provision of an efficient health record service.

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and is enthusiastic and highly motivated. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an ongoing willingness to develop their own skills to ensure that organisational values are met.

Ideally the successful candidate should hold the Institute of Health Records and Information Management (IHRIM) Certificate or Diploma or be prepared to achieve this and have a demonstrable knowledge of Health & Corporate Records in practice with extensive previous experience, as well knowledge and experience of tracking patient activity and the principles of managing overseas visitor activity.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.

Candidates will be expected to give a 5 minute presentation on the following subject:
