We are currently seeking Court Prisoner Custody Officers to join our client’s Custody team.
Our client provides a vital public service through the safe and secure transportation and custody services for adults and young people across the UK. Our client operates on behalf the Ministry of Justice.
The role:
You will be responsible for the physical and mental well-being of those in your care, ensuring their health, safety and well-being is a priority. You will also liaise with Prison and Police authorities, you’ll ensure all documentation is completed and correct, carrying out risk assessments on vulnerable or at-risk prisoners. If successful, you will also be required to manage personal property and will be responsible for organising and supervising meals and drinks.

Job title: Prisoner Custody Officers
Location: Nottingham
Contract and hours: Full Time – Permanent – 35 hours per week on a ‘5 over 6’ shift.
Salary: The starting salary for 1st year is £19,565 with an increase to £20,657 in 2nd year and £21, 840 in 3rd year of service. Overtime is available and paid after 35 hours.
