Morson are exclusively partnering with a large Manufacturing client who are looking to appoint a Senior HR Business Partner to be based near Falkirk. This role will form part of the site leadership team and work with other HR teams which are spread out across the UK. The Senior HRBP role with report functionally to the Group Head of HR and have a dotted line to the site MD. 

Our client is looking for an experience HR Business Partner / site Head of HR to lead a team of 3-4 and provide a rounded operational & strategic HR service to the BU. You will be happy to roll your sleeves up but also lead the team and think about the broader group HR strategy. 



Partner with the site MD to determine key short-, medium- and long-term people priorities and lead the design and delivery of solutions to ensure the organization capability, structure and culture are in place to drive the achievement of business goals. Work creatively with local and regional CoEs and relevant BP colleagues to design and deliver best practice HR solutions.
Coach and advise site leadership on all aspects of people management, including organisational design, cultural change and people development in line with the business philosophy and policy.
Support leaders in developing the organizational capability and resources required to enable delivery of business strategy.
Coach and challenge site leaders to develop the organizational capability and resources required to enable delivery of their business strategy, and to provide coaching and feedback to ensure the development of their leadership capability.

Take accountability for the local implementation of high quality and robust HR disciplines such as recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, compensation review, talent management and people development.
Provide expert, well-reasoned and flexible technical HR advice as required through escalation and ensure that all people activities and processes are managed in line with the business policy and local regulations and standards.
Lead the local employee relations and be accountable for HR compliance in line with local regulations and standards in order to manage business risk arising from employment liability.
Develop ongoing expertise in critical HR competencies and maintain awareness of external best practice.
Contribute to and lead as appropriate, local, country and regional HR projects.
Proactively manage and drive forward Union relationships
Collaborate with HR Operations to ensure effective delivery of day to day HR activities and a good employee experience
People Management

Lead the HR team in delivering clear and focused Site HR support and guidance to the site
Ensure performance is managed throughout the year giving feedback regularly
Carry out development discussions regularly with the team to help them progress their career and focus on experiences and learning which support their journey
Be part of the UKHR Leadership team supporting the Head of HR in contributing to ideas to drive the country HR plan by leading projects or being an active voice for change and best practice

Critical experience

Previous experience in a Senior HR Business Partner role is essential.
Successful track record of implementing Human Resources initiatives that have had a clear impact on the performance and effectiveness of an organization.
Experience in a Unionised Environment is essential with strong negotiation and relationship building expertise needed
Experience of delivering change programmes is essential

Critical qualification requirements

A relevant HR degree and / or post graduate diploma in HRM
Or significant relevant experience in Human Resources

Hold or work towards CIPD Level 7 CIPD Qualification or equivalent

The salary on offer for this role is up to £80,000 pa + a very good benefits package. The role is based in the Falkirk area but may involve some travel to other UK sites
