SPECIALTY DOCTOR IN EMERGENCY MEDICINE (CESR Programme)
Full time (40 hours per week) / Part Time – Hours Negotiable
Salary Scale – £54,903 – £85,554 per annum (pro rata as appropriate)

NHS Forth Valley seeks to appoint enthusiastic and innovative Specialty Doctor colleagues who are keen to progress to CESR, based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The successful applicant will join a permanent medical staff team of 13 Emergency Medicine Consultants, 3 Emergency Medical Practitioners and 6 Specialty Doctors.
We introduced a CESR Programme in 2021 to appoint Specialty Doctors with the aim of supporting you through the CESR process. This is likely to take 4 to 6 years, but will vary for individuals in accordance with existing experience, competency assessments and progression.
NHS Forth Valley provides acute services for a population of approximately 310,000 people in Central Scotland. Acute services, emergency and complex care, and planned services are provided for at Forth Valley Royal Hospital (FVRH)
