Secondment/ fixed term for 12 months to cover substantive post holders maternity leave
Secondment Opportunity – Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager. The Candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 staff to gain experience in providing outpatient renal replacement therapy for patients with end stage renal disease.
The nurse-led dialysis unit has 30 dialysis stations, provides renal replacement therapy for up to 120 patients from the Forth Valley area (catchment population about 300,000). It is located at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. This purpose-built unit also provides outpatient clinics for General Nephrology, Renal Replacement Therapy, Low Clearance Clinic, Transplant clinic and Pre-Dialysis Education. The successful candidate should be committed to the provision of high quality, patient focused care; have a flexible approach to service needs and a genuine interest in working with patients attending various renal clinics and patients undergoing Renal Replacement Therapy.
You must be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate an ability to work with different professional groups.
