Your dream role:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our fast-paced, global business
Your number one priority will be to attract the brightest and the best talent to Alexander Dennis
Deliver an outstanding end to end 360 recruitment service to the business
Translate business needs into creative recruitment campaigns, positioning Alexander Dennis as an employer of choice
Direct sourcing activities such as writing social posts and promoting referrals and utilise LinkedIn to source and approach prospective candidates
Manage roles and candidates through our ATS (Workable) and our recruitment tracker, making sure this is always kept up to date so we can pull accurate reporting at any time
General administrative duties will be part of this position, from posting adverts to setting up interviews
Support hiring managers and the wider HR team with the organisation of induction activities for all new starers
As well as day-to-day recruitment, this position will give you the unique opportunity to get involved in exciting continuous improvement projects, shaping the future state of the recruitment function.
What you will bring:
Demonstrable experience in a full end-to-end recruitment responsibility role, with the ability to manage volume and variety of recruitment activity
Prior experience in a similarly complex business with a wide range of job families and locations
Knowledge and/or experience of dealing with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Procurement position would be a distinct advantage
First class English language skills, with the ability to write creative and compelling advertising campaigns and candidate communications that resonate with target audiences
Knowledgeable on job boards, social media, and other platforms used for recruitment
Comfortable with Microsoft Office, as well as the use of basic Applicant Tracking Systems
Competent user of LinkedIn, being adept with sourcing and communicating with candidates this way
Confident, with excellent relationship building skills, especially as you will be responsible for liaising with so many stakeholders across various levels of seniority
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly
An excellent eye for detail and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
