Driver Hire
“Driver Hire Grangemouth currently have a vacancy for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join the team. You will be developed in to a ′ consultant able to multi task between the 3 main elements of the role; recruiting, business development and office operations. You will be dealing with the employment needs of candidates such as warehouse operatives, labourer’s and various categories of commercial drivers. You will be dealing with the recruitment needs of small local employers through to multi national clients.
Recruitment – responsibilities will include online job posting, cv screening, licence checking, telephone interviews, diary management, face to face interviewing, reference checking and data base management.
Business Development – you will be tasked with identifying prospect clients, telesales, customer surveys, face to face client meetings and generating new business through relationship building. There will be local travel required to meet clients on site in the FK area.
Office Operations – this aspect of the job role is the most challenging and complex, selecting the correct candidates from the recruitment process and placing them with correct clients. A huge demanding jigsaw puzzle at times, but greatly satisfying when all the pieces fit!
We are a fast paced office where no two days are ever the same, however we pride ourselves on being a close team who follow the Driver Hire motto of “fun at work”. We are looking for someone with an outgoing bubbly personality but who also appreciates hard work is required to make it all happen. This role is entry level to the industry and would suit someone with a sales or customer facing background.
Training will involve 2 weeks in our Edinburgh office, on the job training, virtual learning and the opportunity of residential courses at our Head Office.
Driving licence essential and own car beneficial
Understanding of the FK post code is essential, in particular Falkirk, Stirling and Grangemouth plus surrounding areas.
OTE £, raising to £, after 1 year. (this is comprised basic salary, on call allowance and bonus)
