Job Title: Welder Fabricator
Location: Grangemouth, Falkirk
Salary: Up to £27,000.00 per annum
Hours: 40 hours a week (Monday- Friday 8am-5pm)
Job Purpose:
We are advertising this Welder Fabricator role on behalf of our client Tankwash Ltd. The successful candidate will work within a state-of-the-art Tank cleaning and repair facility. You will need to work both as part of a team and on your own.
Your role will be Inspecting tank containers upon arrival at our facility, working within the team reporting any damages and defects. Repairing the tank containers that arrive at our facility unfit for purpose. You must always have an eye for detail and accuracy and a high level of concern for safety.
Repairs can include.
* removal and replacement of damaged mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
* Valve checking, repairing, and fitting.
* Painting external frames.
* Internal inspections, polishing and grinding.
* Pressurizing tanks to check for leaks.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
* MMA & MIG welding essential.
* NVQ Level 3 Welding
* Tig welding an Advantage.
* Knowledge of logistics
* To Check and repair tank containers to a satisfactory level and company standard
* Pressure Testing tanks to ensure no leakage or damage
* Fitting custom seals to all tanks arriving at depot
* Will be required to work in confined spaces
* Filling out paperwork for work carried out
* Estimating major repairs and liaising with office staff on carrying out work
* Adhere to all site health and safety regulations
